What's really, really frightening is when an editor misses a simple typo in a blog she writes about, well, editing.Editors are people, too.

- i'm astute? wow! but i must admit that i didn't notice the typo either, and probably never would have. i have a sort of typo blind spot where my mind just sees what it expects to see if the word isn't misspelled really badly.
